foodfilosofi is a product of a long lineage of amazing home cooks, everything learned about cooking through non-verbal communication. There is little focus on exactness, but rather paying attention to that subtle change in color, sound, smell, and taste; cooking with the senses. My mother always said cooking is “all in the wrist and in the heart”. We use easy, accessible foods that still excite people, and hope for people to use the menus as ideas to jump-start their own creative process.
